Regular check- in is from 4 pm to 7 pm(eastern). For times before 4pm, please call or email and we will do our best to accommodate your check in time.
Please understand we are not a hotel and do not have 24 hour check in available. We do not schedule check in's after 7 pm (eastern). Please contact us if you need assistance with your check in time.
Reservations must be secured by credit card. We run your card upon arrival. Cancellations April-October require 10 days notice for full refund. 1-9 day notice is a fee of 1 night per room booked. Nov-March require a 5 day notice for full refund. 1-4 day notice is a 1 night fee per room booked. 24 hour cancellations or no shows will result in full reservation cost. We are happy work with you to reschedule your trip or to see if we can fill your room.
A two night minimum stay is only required for select holiday and event weekends.
We offer a discount on all stays of 2 or more nights.
Of course children of all ages are welcome! We do expect respectfulness and good behavior of all of our guests, including kids. Children 8 and younger, no charge, maximum 2 per room.
Quiet hours at the Farmhouse Inn are 10 pm to 6 am (2200-0600). While we want you to enjoy your stay, we also want the other guests and ourselves to have a restful night.
For the comfort and safety of our historic home and our guests, and to meet health department and insurance regulations the Farmhouse Inn is smoke-free. Guests can smoke in designated areas away from the house.
Parking is available directly in front of the house. We have 2 steps to access the house. All of our rooms are on the second floor with a staircase for access. Each room has a step up into the bathroom or a step into the tub. Thank you for understanding that we are an old house!
We welcome guest pets, but do require advance notice and may have a maximum number of pets allowed. Our animals (we have a dog and a cat) are friendly and social, we expect the same of yours. We require proof of vaccination. Please understand we do not allow pets to be left unattended while you are out during your stay. We charge a one time pet fee of $25 to help cover the extra cleaning that is required.
We have no problem with guest enjoying their favorite beverages at the Farmhouse. We do require you to drink and act responsibly, respect the quiet hours and other guests.
Tennessee is a right to carry state, legal permit holders are free to carry here, we will not restrict your right. During hunting seasons we may have hunters at the Farmhouse. Hunters are expected to follow transport laws and will keep their weapons cleared and cased. There is a national forest shooting range about 20 miles away.
